EIM Nonprofit Spotlight :: The Idaho Falls Festival of Trees

East Idaho Moms is excited to feature Idaho Falls Festival of Trees as our nonprofit for November 2022. Eastern Idaho is fortunate to have a wealth of nonprofit and service organizations. By highlighting some of these groups, we hope to encourage moms and families to get involved and learn about all that our wonderful community has to offer.

The Idaho Falls Festival of Trees is a 501c3 through the Development Workshop (DWI) which highlight uniquely designed Christmas trees, door displays and fireplace mantlepieces that are available for businesses and individuals to purchase.  Patrons can also enjoy daily entertainment, bakery sales, a boutique, Santa’s gift shop, photos with Santa, raffle, lunch, dinner and dessert at the Festival Café and a scavenger hunt for kids.  It is a fundraiser that benefits the Development Workshop, Inc and other organizations that aid individuals with disabilities, or who are disadvantaged in achieving their chosen level of economic and social independence.  Annually, the Idaho Falls Festival of Trees hosts 5000-8000 visitors and approximately 500 volunteers from Idaho Falls and surrounding communities.  This year, the “Winter Wonderland” event, held at the Elks Lodge at 640 E Elva in Idaho Falls,  will be previewed by sponsors on November 14th, which will be followed by its public opening at noon.  It will then be open to the public from 10 am to9pm November 15-18th.  Purchased trees will be delivered and setup in the purchasers’ homes on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
