Happy Spring & Happy Easter!  This time of year is perfect for memory making.  The joy on a child’s face when they find a candy-filled egg and time together with family and friends makes this time of year extra special. As our community is slowly finding our new normal, not every event might happen this year, but we will keep this updated with future events and I’m sure we’ll all find ways to celebrate the season!

We have some great ideas for egg hunts and Easter activities at home too :: How To Plan an Easter Egg Hunt…At Night, Easter Can Still Be All it’s Cracked Up To Be, Easter Egg Hunt Minus the Candy, and Dyeing Eggs with a Toddler Made Easy

Rexburg Annual Easter Activity

The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Rexburg Kiwanis Club are gearing up for the annual Easter activity and bike giveaway. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we had to cancel the 2020 and the 2021 Easter egg hunt and bike giveaway at Porter Park. Because we cannot due the egg hunt, we have decided to provide a full size candy bar for each student Kindergarten Thru 4th Grade (K-4) just prior to Easter at both Madison and Sugar school districts. We also hope to collect enough bikes to randomly give away a bike to each class using a “Golden Ticket” that will be placed inside a paper sleeve wrapped around each candy bar noting the sponsors that are making this possible. The winner of a new bike would be able to redeem the bike at the noted place of business and be able to get a credit at Walmart for the bike to apply to another bike if the style/size does not work for them.
